Learning Bridge
Privacy notice
This is a draft for testing the platform, not the final wording. Learning Bridge's own text replaces it before the platform opens to learners.
What we keep about you
Your first name, and the e-mail address or mobile number you sign in with. The group you joined. Your answers to the questions when you started: whether you have worked on a site, how confident you feel, your age band and, if you gave it, the start of your postcode, such as BA12. We never ask for your address. What you say to the AI coach, and how you are getting on.
Why
To run your course, to help you with what you are unsure about, and to show your trainer how you are getting on.
Who sees it
The trainers of your group. The Learning Bridge team, when they need to look into a problem, and each time they look it is recorded. An employer only if you choose to let them, under a made-up name and never with your own words.
The AI coach
What you say to the coach is sent to an AI model, which reads it and writes the coach's reply. The companies that run those models do it for us under contract, and your data stays in the UK or the EU.
Cookies
Only the ones the site needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. None for tracking or advertising.
How long we keep it
To be confirmed.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we keep about you, to have it corrected, or to have your account and what we keep about you deleted. If you are 16 or 17, you have the same rights. Who to ask: to be confirmed.
